Why should I buy from your farm?
We are a small operation direct to consumer chicken farm which means we know how every single bird grows and develop, we raised this birds with the same passion and ethics we raised food for our families in fact we feed our families with this produts, With a daily regimen of fresh air, sunshine, movement, a nutrient dense diet, and humane living space, our birds are naturally happy with a strengthened health and immune system (without any drugs or antibiotics). We are proud to practice regenerative agriculture principals in fact we wouldn’t do it any other way!
What type of poultry do you offer for sale?
At the moment we only offer Cornish chickens and some heritage breeds. We do not currently offer ducks, guineas, turkeys or any other related poultry.
Do you do chlorine bath at processing?
Never. Chlorine baths are unnecessary, since we rotate our chickens daily to clean fresh patches of grass where they can sanitize themselves by taking dust baths. They never sleep in their own feces, therefore potable water and apple cider vinegar is enough when dressing our chickens before sale.
Why is your chicken different from store bought chickens?
Chickens you buy at local grocery stores are subject to chain distribution, meaning before a chicken arrives to your local supermarket it has to pass by a distribution company that has nothing to do with the farm that produced the chicken in the first place. Therefore, cold chain changes a lot during the process. Also, supermarkets focus on labels and quality levels to price chickens. Our chickens are simple to understand, one way type of quality, with an open door transparency policy. At our farm, you know what are you buying from the get go. Once we slaughter a chicken, we flash freeze it, so the end end buyer is the one who will finally thaw it out.
Are you a seasonal or all year round chicken farm?
We raise 4 batches of chicken per year (we like to stop during the hotter months July-Aug) therefore, we have availability throughout the year for the most part.
Do you sell eggs?
Yes, we sell chicken farm fresh eggs fed with a unique soy-free corn free low pufas custom feed meaning no seed oils, flaxseeds, safflower, sunflowers or vegetable oils of any kind. Our hens work in a symbiotic relationship with our cows and chickens to help sanitize the land and regenerate our pastures denser and fresher every time. The hens are truly happy, raised with high animal welfare standards and same regenerative ag principals as our other flocks.
Do you sell fertilized eggs for hatching?
No, all our egg production is for human consumption, our eggs get picked daily and sold out by the end of week mostly.
Do you sell baby chicks?
No, we are not a hatchery. We are a chicken farm that raises chicken for human consumption.
Is your farm USDA certified?
No, we don’t have a USDA certification at the moment, but we have a limited poultry license to offer poultry for sale in Florida. We are working with USDA certified slaughter facility to process our chickens.
